Tuition fees are payable prior to the start of each academic year and are invoiced in advance of attendance at the beginning of each term. To facilitate a smooth process, fees are issued from the time of admission, allowing payments to be settled before the term commences.
If your circumstances change, we kindly ask that you inform us ahead of the payment deadline, allowing us to provide guidance on available options. Please note that all tuition fees are set in accordance with the BC Academy’s fee structure, which adheres to the KHDA School Fee Framework.
We are committed to ensuring that all our parents remain well-informed regarding tuition fees, allowing them to plan their academic year with confidence. Our admissions team is always here to assist you at any stage.
Upon submission of an online enquiry, an application fee of AED 525 (inclusive of VAT) is required. This fee is applicable under the following conditions:
Refundable: If the Academy does not offer the student a place (unless the registration is deferred to the following academic year).
Non-Refundable: If the Academy offers a place but the student declines the offer.
Non-Deductible: The application fee is not deducted from the total tuition fees, even if the student is offered and accepts a place.
A registration deposit, amounting to 10% of the total annual tuition fees, is required once a place has been offered and accepted. This deposit is deducted from the total tuition fees but is strictly non-refundable.
The application fee is payable at the time of online registration to process the application for new students.
Upon receiving a formal offer, the registration deposit is required to secure the student’s place.
The first term’s tuition payment is due before the student’s start date at the Academy.
Please note that tuition fees are exclusive of uniforms, meal services, transport, and any English language or special educational needs support.
For new students joining during the academic year, tuition fees are charged from the start of the month in which they enroll.
Tuition fee payments are structured as follows:
First Term: 40% of annual tuition fees.
Second Term: 30% of annual tuition fees.
Third Term: 30% of annual tuition fees.
BC Academy is pleased to offer a sibling discount to families with multiple children enrolled at the school:
Fourth Child: 15% tuition fee discount.
Fifth Child: 25% tuition fee discount.

At BC Academy, we strive to maintain a fair and transparent refund policy for both new and existing students. Please be aware of the following guidelines regarding refunds:
The registration and re-registration deposits are non-refundable, except under exceptional circumstances. These may include relocation to another country or Emirate, or other unforeseen situations beyond the family’s control.
Tuition fees paid before the commencement of the academic year are refundable, with only the registration or re-registration deposit deducted.
Refunds for students withdrawing after the start of the academic year are calculated as follows:
If the student has attended for two weeks or less, one month’s fees will be deducted.
If the student has attended for more than two weeks but less than one month, two months’ fees will be deducted.
If the student has attended for over one month, the full term’s fees will be deducted.
Refunds are calculated from the start of the term and the date of the parent’s official written request for withdrawal, not from the date the student stops attending. Days on the school register are counted as attendance days.
Refunds will be processed as follows:
Credit Card or Online Payments: Refunded directly to the original payment method.
Cash Payments: Refunded via cheque.
To secure a place for the following academic year, a re-registration deposit of 5% of the total tuition fees is required for existing students. This deposit is deductible from the total tuition fees for the new academic year but is strictly non-refundable.
Please note that re-registration may be denied for students who:
Have incomplete documentation required by the Ministry of Education or KHDA.
Have outstanding fees from the current academic year.
BC Academy reserves the right to take the following actions in cases of non-payment of tuition fees:
Withholding academic reports, references, and examination results.
Temporarily or permanently excluding the student from the Academy.
